I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become. — Carl Jung

hey there!!

i’m so happy you are here :)

I’m Abir she and her. My name means the fragrance of the rose in Arabic. I was born and raised in Egypt. When I landed in New York over thirty years ago, something in me felt at home. A quiet sense of belonging that never left.

I love slow mornings with hot coffee and a splash of oat milk. I love melancholic music that softens me, and I come alive dancing to EDM. Movement grounds me. Yoga feels like soul work, and rock climbing has become my meditation. I am not great at either because I enjoy the process, not the performance.

I specialize in working with sexual shame, self worth, identity, and religious and cultural trauma. I am somatic and trauma informed, which means we listen to the body as much as the story. I work with curiosity and depth, helping you gently examine core beliefs and reconnect with who you truly are.

This is a space where you get to be you.
